This service utilises a single-stage machine polishing process to enhance the vehicle’s appearance and is an extension of our existing protection details.

The detailing service focuses on eliminating light surface imperfections caused by washing and drying through a single-stage machine polishing process. This service is an enhancement of existing protection details.

Additionally, the Carr Detailing Maintenance package offers comprehensive care for vehicles, ensuring they remain in optimal condition both inside and out through regular maintenance.

Exterior

The car detailing process begins with an exterior citrus pre-wash, followed by the application of snow foam. A thorough contact wash is then performed, which includes cleaning the wheels, fuel filler cap, and door shuts.

To complete the detailing, a hydrophobic coating that lasts for three months is applied to the bodywork, exterior glass, and wheels, after which the vehicle is rinsed and dried.

Interior

The cleaning process for your vehicle’s interior involves thorough vacuuming of carpets and upholstery, along with wiping down all surfaces such as door cards, the dashboard, and the centre console.

Additionally, the pedals and interior glass will be cleaned, and the process concludes with the application of air freshener for a pleasant scent.

• The vehicle detailing process begins with a thorough pre-wash, where the vehicle is degreased, and tar deposits are removed using a wax-safe pre-wash formula, citrus degreasers, and tar removers. Following this, the vehicle is washed with a pH neutral shampoo using soft natural lambswool mitts.
• The wheels, arches, engine bay, and shuts are cleaned with high-quality, non-acidic products to ensure a gentle yet effective clean.
• The vehicle surfaces and wheels undergo a decontamination process, where they are clayed to eliminate bonded contaminants such as tar, tree sap, and brake dust.
• The vehicle is dried meticulously using plush towels, drying lubricant, and warm air to prevent any water spots or damage to the paintwork.
• The bodywork is then machine polished with a lightly abrasive compound to remove minor defects and enhance the surface gloss, preparing it for the application of wax or sealant.
• A ceramic coating is applied to the bodywork, which not only improves the paint’s appearance but also provides long-lasting protection that can range from one to nine years, depending on the chosen product.
• Additionally, a protective coating is applied to the wheels,
• The tires are cleaned and dressed with a non-sling dressing.
• Unpainted plastics are also treated to ensure a uniform look across the vehicle.
• The detailing process continues with the cleaning and dressing of the engine bay
• Polishing of the exhaust tips with a quality metal polish.
• The interior surfaces, including the dashboard, are cleaned.
• Glass is thoroughly cleaned inside and out. 
•  Interior surfaces are wiped down and dressed with a non-silicon dressing.
• Leather seats are cleaned and conditioned
• The interior is vacuumed to leave it clean and fresh.
• Finally, the exterior receives a last inspection and a wipe down with a protective spray sealant to enhance gloss and water repellency.
